[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 1923, June 22, 1957 ]

AN ACT CONVERTING THE ISABELA TRADE SCHOOL INTO A REGIONAL SCHOOL OF ARTS AND TRADES TO BE KNOWN AS THE ISABELA REGIONAL SCHOOL OF ARTS AND TRADES AND TO AUTHORIZE THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS FOR THE PURPOSE.



Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. The Isabela Trade School is hereby converted into a regional school of arts and trades to be known as the Isabela Regional School of Arts and Trades under the Bureau of Public Schools.

SEC. 2. The sum of two hundred thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the expenses of the said school during the fiscal year nineteen hundred and fifty-eight, in addition to the present appropriation of the school. Thereafter, the necessary funds for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriation Act.

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
