[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 207, May 28, 1948 ]
AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES WITHIN A PERIOD OF TWO YEARS TO APPOINT OFFICERS FROM THE RESERVE FORCE INTO THE REGULAR FORCE OF THE ARMED FORCES OF THE PHILIPPINES ABOVE THE GRADE OF SECOND LIEUTENANT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of section twenty-two (c) of Commonwealth Act Numbered One, as amended, and under such rules and regulations as the President of the Philippines may prescribe, the President, within the period of two years from the approval of this Act and upon recommendation of the Secretary of National Defense, is hereby authorized to appoint reserve officers into the regular force of the Armed Forces of the Philippines in grades above second lieutenant.
SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
