[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 1944, June 22, 1957 ]

AN ACT TO CONVERT THE HALILI HIGH SCHOOL IN THE PROVINCE OF BULACAN INTO A POULTRY SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS THE PHILIPPINE POULTRY SCHOOL, AND TO AUTHORIZE THE APPROPRIATION OF THE NECESSARY FUNDS THEREFOR.



Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. The Halili High School, situated in the Municipality of Sta. Maria, Province of Bulacan, is hereby converted into a poultry school to be known as the Philippine Poultry School, and the Secretary of Education is hereby empowered to reorganize said school accordingly.

SEC. 2. The sum of two hundred thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the acquisition of additional site and equipment for said school, and for its maintenance and operation during the school year nineteen hundred and fifty-five and nineteen hundred and fifty-six. Such sums as may be necessary thereafter for its maintenance and operation shall be included in the annual General Appropriation Act.

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
