[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 1961, June 22, 1957 ]
AN ACT TO CONVERT THE SINDANGAN HIGH SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF SINDANGAN, PROVINCE OF ZAMBOANGA DEL NORTE, INTO A NATIONAL RURAL HIGH SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS THE SINDANGAN NATIONAL RURAL HIGH SCHOOL, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
SECTION 1. The Sindangan High School in the Municipality of Sindangan, Province of Zamboanga del Norte, is converted into a national rural high school to be known as the Sindangan National Rural High School. The Secretary of Education is hereby empowered to reorganize said school accordingly.
SEC. 2. The sum of three hundred thousand pesos is appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the operation and maintenance of the said school during the school year nineteen hundred fifty-seven-nineteen hundred fifty-eight. Thereafter, the same amount shall be included in the annual General Appropriation Act.
SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
