AN ACT TO APPROPRIATE ONE HUNDRED TWENTY-THREE THOUSAND PESOS FOR THE OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF THE DEWORMING, MALNUTRITION AND HEALTH EDUCATION UNITS OF THE MEDICAL AND DENTAL SERVICES, BUREAU OF PUBLIC SCHOOLS, DONATED BY THE COOPERATIVE FOR AMERICAN REMITTANCES TO EVERYWHERE, INC. (CARE).
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
SECTION 1. Upon approval of this Act, the support, maintenance and operation of the deworming, malnutrition and health education units of the Medical and Dental Services of the Bureau of Public Schools which is donated by the Cooperative for American Remittances to Everywhere, Inc., (CARE) shall be paid by the National Government.
SEC. 2. To carry out the provisions of this Act for the fiscal year nineteen hundred fifty-eight, there is hereby appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, the sum of one hundred twenty-three thousand pesos. Thereafter, such sums as may be necessary for the operation and maintenance of these units in subsequent years shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
