[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 7834, December 11, 1994 ]
AN ACT ESTABLISHING A SCHOOL OF ARTS AND TRADES IN BAGUIO CITY, TO BE KNOWN AS THE BAGUIO CITY SCHOOL OF ARTS AND TRADES, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
SECTION 1. There shall be established, under the supervision of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), a school of arts and trades in Baguio City, to be known as the Baguio City School of Arts and Trades.
SEC. 2. The Chairman of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) shall issue the necessary rules and regulations for the effective implementation of this Act within a period of ninety (90) days after its effectivity. Any violation of this section shall render the concerned official/s liable under Republic Act No. 6713, otherwise known as the "Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees" and other existing administrative and/or criminal laws.
SEC. 3. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter, such sums as may be necessary for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
SEC. 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
