[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 741, June 18, 1952 ]
AN ACT TO CONVERT THE PABLO BORBON MEMORIAL TRADE SCHOOL IN THE PROVINCE OF BATANGAS TO A NATIONAL TRADE SCHOOL AND TO AUTHORIZE THE APPROPRIATION OF NECESSARY FUNDS THEREFOR.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
SECTION 1. The Pablo Borbon Memorial Trade School situated in the Province of Batangas is hereby converted to a national trade school. The Secretary of Education is hereby empowered to reorganize the said school and to issue such rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry out the purpose of this Act.
SEC. 2. The sum of one hundred thousand pesos for the conversion of said School, as provided in this Act, and its operation and maintenance for the first school year after the approval of this Act, is hereby authorized to be appropriated out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated. Thereafter, the necessary sum for said purpose shall be included in the Annual General Appropriation Acts.
SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
