Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. The following sums are appropriated out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated for the period from July first, nineteen hundred fifty-six to June thirtieth, nineteen hundred fifty-seven, for the purposes specified hereunder:euben

1.	For Philippine contribution to the SEATO Secretariat .............................................		P42,512.00
2.	For the SEATO Division, Home Office,  Department of Foreign Affairs:
	(a)	One Chief of Division, Foreign Affairs Officer Class II ...............................	7,200.00
	(b)	One Economist .........................................................................................	6,000.00
	(c)	One Political and Cultural Assistant ...........................................................	5,100.00
	(d)	One Stenographer-clerk ...........................................................................	2,760.00
		TOTAL	P63,572.00

SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
