DIRECTING ALL CABINET MEMBERS AND THEIR ATTACHED AGENCIES AND HEADS OF GOVERNMENT-OWNED AND CONTROLLED CORPORATIONS TO ACTIVELY PARTICIPATE AND GIVE FULL SUPPORT IN THE CELEBRATION OF THE INTERNATIONAL ANTI-CORRUPTION DAY AND THE LAUNCHING OF 1ST UNITED NATIONS CONVENTION AGAINST CORRUPTION (UNCAC)
The Multi-Sectoral Anti-Corruption Council (MSACC), the consultative and coordinating body of the National Anti-Corruption Program of Action (NACPA), will celebrate the International Anti-Corruption Day and the launching of 1st United Nations Convention Against Corruption (UNCAC) on December 9, 2008.
The twin activities will be good opportunity to instill greater consciousness and understanding among the Filipino people on the corruption problem in the country, and to sustain institutional and popular support for and participation in the comprehensive anti-corruption programs of the Government, and to improve the international perception about the Philippines.
Relative thereto, all Cabinet Members and their attached agencies and Heads of the Government-Owned and Controlled Corporations are hereby directed to actively participate and give full support in the celebration of International Anti-Corruption Day and the launching of 1st United Nations Convention Against Corruption (UNCAC) on December 9, 2008.
The Office of the Executive Secretary, thru Assistant Executive Secretary Lynn Danao-Moreno, Chairperson of MSACC's Ad Hoc Committee, shall undertake the necessary coordination nationwide on the participation of government agencies.
