[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 6462, June 17, 1972 ]
AN ACT ESTABLISHING THE OFFICE OF REGISTER OF DEEDS IN NAGA CITY AS SEPARATE AND DISTINCT FROM THE PROVINCIAL REGISTER OF CAMARINES SUR, AND APPROPRIATING THE NECESSARY FUNDS THEREFOR.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
SECTION 1. There is hereby established the Office of the Register of Deeds for Naga City with permanent office in Naga City, which shall perform all the duties and functions of the Register of Deeds for the City of Naga independent of the Provincial Register for Camarines Sur.
SEC. 2. The Register of Deeds for Naga City shall be under the direct supervision and control of the Secretary of Justice.
SEC. 3. The Register of Deeds for Camarines Sur shall immediately transfer and turn over to the Register of Deeds for Naga City all documents, papers, etc., pertaining to all properties and transactions within the City of Naga.
SEC. 4. The sum of fifty thousand pesos is hereby appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury no1 otherwise appropriated, for the establishment, operation and maintenance of said new office during the fiscal year nineteen hundred seventy. Thereafter, such sum as may be necessary for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
SEC. 5. This Act shall take effect upon its approval. Enacted without Executive approval, June 17, 1972.
