AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION ONE OF ACT NUMBERED THIRTEEN HUNDRED AND EIGHTY-ONE, ENTITLED "AN ACT TO AMEND ACT NUMBERED SEVEN HUNDRED AND NINE, ENTITLED 'AN ACT PROHIBITING THE TRAFFIC IN INTOXICATING LIQUORS WITHIN CERTAIN DISTANCES OF LAND USED BY THE UNITED STATES FOR MILITARY PURPOSES AND AT CERTAIN CAMPS THEREIN NAMED,' " AS AMENDED BY ACTS NUMBERED SEVEN HUNDRED AND SIXTY AND ELEVEN HUNDRED AND SIXTY-NINE, BY AUTHORIZING THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL TO EXCEPT FROM THE PROVISIONS OF SAID ACT, AS AMENDED, LOCALITIES WHERE GARRISONS ARE COMPOSED OF PHILIPPINES SCOUTS.
By authority of the United Slates, be it enacted by the Philippine Legislature, that:
SECTION 1. Section one of Act Numbered Thirteen hundred and eighty-one is hereby amended to lead as follows:

"SECTION 1. Section one of Act Numbered Seven hundred and nine, entitled 'An Act prohibiting the traffic in intoxicating liquors within certain distances of land used by the United States for military purposes and at certain camps therein named, as amended by Acts Numbered Seven hundred and sixty and Eleven hundred sixty-nine, is hereby so amended as to authorize the Governor- General in his discretion to except from the provisions of said Act as amended any of the places of localities therein named, or any portion thereof, whenever the United States Army shall discontinue the maintenance of military garrisons thereat, or whenever such military garrisons shall be composed only of Philippine Scouts."SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect on its passage.
