AN ACT AMENDING SECTION ELEVEN OF ACT NUMBERED SEVEN HUNDRED AND EIGHTY-SEVEN, ENTITLED "AN ACT PROVIDING FOR THE ORGANIZATION AND GOVERNMENT OF THE MORO PROVINCE," AS AMENDED BY ACT NUMBERED TWELVE HUNDRED AND EIGHTY-THREE.
By authority of the United States, be it enacted by the Philippine Commission, that:
SECTION 1. Section eleven of Act Numbered Seven hundred and eighty-seven, entitled "An Act providing for the organization and government of the Moro Province," as amended by section four of Act Numbered Twelve hundred and eighty-three, is hereby further amended by making the last sentence of the first paragraph of said section read as follows:
SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect on its passage, hut its provisions shall be retroactive and effective as of July first, nineteen hundred and five.

SECTION 1. Section eleven of Act Numbered Seven hundred and eighty-seven, entitled "An Act providing for the organization and government of the Moro Province," as amended by section four of Act Numbered Twelve hundred and eighty-three, is hereby further amended by making the last sentence of the first paragraph of said section read as follows:
"In case officers of the Army are detailed to perform the duties of provincial or district officials of the Moro Province they may be paid an allowance, in the discretion of the legislative council, as follows: Officers above the grade of colonel, not exceeding twenty per centum, and officers of the grade of colonel and below said grade not exceeding fifty per centum, of their current proper yearly pay as officers of the Army, and they shall also receive the actual and necessary expenses incurred while absent from their stations in the performance of their necessary civil duties."SEC. 2. The public good requiring the speedy enactment of this hill, the passage of the same is hereby expedited in accordance with section two of "All Act prescribing the order of procedure by the Commission in the enactment of laws," passed September twenty-sixth, nineteen hundred.
SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect on its passage, hut its provisions shall be retroactive and effective as of July first, nineteen hundred and five.
