[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 6626, October 23, 1972 ]

AN ACT ESTABLISHING AN EMERGENCY HOSPITAL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF SIATON, PROVINCE OF NEGROS ORIENTAL, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR.



Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. There shall be established a national emergency hospital with a twenty-five-bed capacity in the Municipality of Siaton, Province of Negros Oriental.

SEC. 2, The Secretary of Health shall issue such rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry out the purpose of this Act.

SEC. 3. The sum of two hundred fifty thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the establishment, operation and maintenance of said hospital during the fiscal year nineteen hundred and seventy-three.  Thereafter, such sum as may be necessary for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

SEC. 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
