AN ACT APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF ONE THOUSAND PESOS TO BE DISBURSED UNDER THE DIRECTION OF THE CHIEF OF THE EXECUTIVE BUREAU FOR THE ACQUISITION AND TEST OF A VOTING MACHINE

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of  the Philippines in Legislature assembled and by the authority of the same:

SECTION  1. There  is  hereby appropriated, out of any funds in the Insular  Treasury not otherwise set aside, the sum  of one thousand  pesos,  to  be disbursed, under the direction  of  the  Chief of the Executive  Bureau, for the acquisition and test of a model voting machine invented by Martiniano Floro.  After the test, the model machine shall be ceded  to the Philippine Museum,  and any unexpended balance of this  appropriation shall revert  to the general funds of  the Insular Treasury.

SEC.  2. On or  before the sixteenth of  July, nineteen hundred  and twenty-seven,  the  Chief of  the  Executive Bureau shall submit a  report  to the Legislature on the advisability of adopting said machine in  the  elections.

SEC. 3.  This Act shall take effect on its approval.
