AN ACT REDUCING THE FIFTEEN MUNICIPALITIES OF THE PROVINCE OF MINDORO TO EIGHT.
By authority of the United States, be it enacted by the Philippine Commission, that:
SECTION 1. The fifteen municipalities of the Province of Mindoro shall, in accordance with the provisions of this Act, be reduced to eight, as follows:
SEC. 3. The public good requiring the speedy enactment of this bill, the passage of the same is hereby expedited in accordance with section two of "An Act prescribing the order of procedure by the Commission in the enactment of laws," passed September twenty-sixth, nineteen hundred.
SEC. 4. This Act shall take effect on February first, nineteen hundred and five.
Enacted, January 4, 1905.
SECTION 1. The fifteen municipalities of the Province of Mindoro shall, in accordance with the provisions of this Act, be reduced to eight, as follows:
- The municipality of Lubang shall consist of its present territory and that of the municipality of Looc, with the seat of the municipal government at the barrio of Tilic.
- The municipality of Mamburao shall consist of its present territory and that of the municipalities of Palauan and Abra de Ylog, with the seat of the municipal government at the present municipality of Mamburao.
- The municipality of Calapan shall consist of its present territory and that of the municipality of Puerto Galera, with the seal of the municipal government at the present municipality of Calapan.
- The municipality of Pinamalayan shall consist of its present territory and that of the municipality of Pola, with the seat of the municipal government at the present municipality of Pinamalayan.
- The municipality of Bulalacao shall consist of its present territory and that of the municipalities of Mansalay and Mangarin, with the seat of the municipal government at the present municipality of Bulalacao.
- The municipality of Nanjan shall preserve its present boundaries.
- The municipality of Sablayan shall preserve its present boundaries.
- The municipality of Caluya shall preserve its present boundaries.
SEC. 3. The public good requiring the speedy enactment of this bill, the passage of the same is hereby expedited in accordance with section two of "An Act prescribing the order of procedure by the Commission in the enactment of laws," passed September twenty-sixth, nineteen hundred.
SEC. 4. This Act shall take effect on February first, nineteen hundred and five.
