AN ACT TO APPROPRIATE FIFTEEN THOUSAND PESOS FOR BONIFACIO MEMORIAL SCHOOL BUILDING, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
Whereas Andres Bonifacio is recognized as one of the fathers of Philippine Democracy;
Whereas Andres Bonifacio, born of poor parentage and feared in poverty, became one of the heroes and martyrs immortalized in Philippine history; and
Whereas Balintawak witnessed the first cry of the Philippine Revolution under the leadership of Andres Bonifacio; Now, therefore,
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Legislature assembled and by the authority of the same:
SECTION 1. That the amount of fifteen thousand pesos be hereby appropriated out of any funds in the Insular Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the construction of a Bonifacio Memorial School Building at Balintawak, Caloocan, Rizal.
SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
