[ Act No. 3231, November 27, 1925 ]
AN ACT APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF FIFTEEN THOUSAND PESOS FOR DEVELOPING HOME CANNING AND FOOD PRESERVATION AS AN INDUSTRY IN THE PHILIPPINES, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Legislature assembled and by the authority of the same:
SECTION 1. That the sum of fifteen thousand pesos be hereby appropriated out of any funds of the Insular Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the purpose of developing and encouraging home canning and food preservation as an industry in the Philippines.
SEC. 2. This sum shall be expended for purposes of theoretical and practical instruction and demonstration in Manila and other parts of the Philippines on home canning and food preservation, under the direction of the Department of Agriculture and Natural Resources.
SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
