AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION ONE HUNDRED NINETY-TWO OF ACT NUMBERED TWENTY-SEVEN HUNDRED AND ELEVEN, KNOWN AS THE REVISED ADMINISTRATIVE CODE, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Legislature assembled and by the authority of the same:
SECTION 1. Section one hundred ninety-two of Act Numbered Twenty-seven hundred and eleven, known as the Revised Administrative Code, is hereby amended to read as follows:
SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.

"SEC. 192. Office of register of deeds.—There shall be a register of deeds for the City of Manila and one for each of the several provinces except the Mountain Province. In the Mountain Province there shall be one register of deeds for the Mountain Province whose jurisdiction shall extend to such parts of the province as are not contained in the subprovince of Benguet, and for the subprovince of Benguet there shall be a register of deeds whose jurisdiction shall extend throughout the subprovince of Benguet, including City of Baguio: Provided, That the auxiliary register of deeds of the Province of Leyte shall hold office in the municipality of Maasin, with the same powers and duties as the register of deeds of the province within the municipalities of Villaba, Palonpon, Merida, Ormoc, Albuera, Baybay, Inopacan, Hindang, Hilongos, Bato, Matalom, Maasin, Macrohon, Malitbog, Sogod, Libagon, Lilo-an, Pintuyan, Cabalian, Anahawan, Hinunangan, and Hinundayan, Province of Leyte, subject, however, to the supervision and control of the register of deeds of the province."SEC. 2. All acts or parts of act or laws inconsistent herewith are hereby repealed.
SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
