[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 6598, October 23, 1972 ]

AN ACT ESTABLISHING AN ANIMAL BREEDING STATION IN THE CITY OF BUTUAN, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR.



Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. There shall be established, under the direct supervision of the Director of Animal Industry, an animal breeding station in the City of Butuan, to be known as the Butuan City Animal Breeding Station.

SEC. 2. The sum of two hundred thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the establishment of the said animal breeding station and for the purchase of breeding animals, supplies and materials and such other expenses as may be necessary to carry out the Purpose of this Act.  Thereafter, such sum as may be needed for the same purpose shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
