[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 6616, October 23, 1972 ]

AN ACT PROVIDING FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF AN EMERGENCY HOSPITAL IN BARRIO CALANTAC, MUNICIPALITY OF ALCALA, PROVINCE OF CAGAYAN, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR.



Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. There shall be established, under the Bureau of Medical Services, a twenty-five-bed emergency hospital in Barrio Calantac, Municipality of Alcala, Province of Cagayan, to be known as the Central Cagayan Emergency Hospital.

SEC. 2. The sum of one hundred thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the establishment and construction of said hospital as well as the purchase of equipment and facilities thereof.  The annual maintenance of said hospital shall be in accordance with the provisions of Republic Act Numbered Nineteen hundred thirty-nine.

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
