[ Act No. 346, February 03, 1902 ]

AN ACT AMENDING SECTION TWENTY-TWO OF ACT NUMBERED EIGHTY-TWO, BEING THE MUNICIPAL CODE, SO FAR AS CONCERNS THE MUNICIPALITY OF ILOILO.

By authority of the President of the United States, be it enacted by the United States Philippine Commission, that:

SECTION 1. Section twenty-two of Act Numbered Eighty-two, entitled "A general Act for the organization of municipal governments in the Philippine Islands," is hereby amended by adding at the close of paragraph (a) of said section, the following:
"Provided, That in the municipality of Iloilo, Province of Iloilo, the salary of the secretary may be fixed by the municipal council at nine hundred pesos, or less, and that of the treasurer at one thousand one hundred pesos, or less."
SEC. 2. The public good requiring the speedy enactment of this bill, the passage of the same is hereby expedited in accordance with section two of "An Act prescribing the order of procedure by the Commission in the enactment of laws," passed September twenty-sixth, nineteen hundred.

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect on its passage.
