AN ACT APPROPRIATING TWENTY-FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS, IN MONEY OF THE UNITED STATES, FOR GENERAL PURPOSES, TO BE DISBURSED BY THE DISBURSING AGENT OF THE GOVERNMENT OF THE PHILIPPINE ISLANDS AT WASHINGTON, DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA.
By authority of the United States, be it enacted by the Philippine Commission, that:
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated, out of any funds in the Insular Treasury not otherwise appropriated, the sum of twenty-five thousand dollars, in money of the United States, to be transferred to the disbursing agent of the Government of the Philippine Islands at Washington, District of Columbia, and to be by him disbursed for the general purposes of the Insular Government. Funds disbursed in pursuance of this Act shall be charged by the Auditor for the Philippine Islands to the appropriations of the proper Bureaus, and the fund available for the disbursing agent at Washington shall be credited with the sums so charged to the several Bureaus, so that the fund shall he a reimbursable and permanent one.
SEC. 2. The public good requiring the speedy enactment of this bill, the passage of the same is hereby expedited in accordance with section two of "An Act prescribing the order of procedure by the Commission in the enactment of laws," passed September twenty-sixth, nineteen hundred.
SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect on its passage.
