AN ACT TO AMEND ACT NUMBERED THIRTY-ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY-THREE, ENTITLED "AN ACT APPROPRIATING' FUNDS FOR THE NECESSARY EXPENSES OF THE GOVERNMENT OF THE PHILIPPINE ISLANDS DURING THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING DECEMBER THIRTY-FIRST, NINETEEN HUNDRED AND TWENTY-FOUR, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Legislature assembled and by the authority of the same:
SECTION 1.- Subsection (Q) of section one of Act Numbered Thirty-one hundred and twenty-three, entitled "An Act appropriating funds for the necessary expenses of the Government of the Philippine Islands during the fiscal year ending December thirty-first, nineteen hundred and twenty- four, and for other purposes," is hereby amended by adding, at the end thereof, the following proviso:
SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect on its approval.

SECTION 1.- Subsection (Q) of section one of Act Numbered Thirty-one hundred and twenty-three, entitled "An Act appropriating funds for the necessary expenses of the Government of the Philippine Islands during the fiscal year ending December thirty-first, nineteen hundred and twenty- four, and for other purposes," is hereby amended by adding, at the end thereof, the following proviso:
"Provided, That out of the funds appropriated for the Bureau of Customs, the sum of thirty-seven thousand eight hundred and sixteen pesos and thirty-two centavos shall be set aside for payment to Lung Chea Kung Kee & Co. for the twelve thousand five hundred sacks of flour belonging to said company, erroneously delivered to another mercantile firm by a subordinate employee of the Bureau of Customs, according to the decision of the Supreme Court in the case entitled 'Lung Chea Kung Kee & Co. vs. V. Aldanese, Insular Collector of Customs,' R. G. No. 21362."
SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect on its approval.
