AN ACT AMENDING ACTS NUMBERED SIX HUNDRED AND THIRTY-EIGHT AND EIGHT HUNDRED AND FIFTY-THREE, BY PROVIDING THAT THE WORK THEREIN DIRECTED TO BE DONE MAY BE PERFORMED BY THE CONSULTING ENGINEER.

By authority of the United States, be it enacted by the Philippine Commission, that:

SECTION 1. The survey of the Dalitiuan River at Botocan Falls and of the falls of the Caliraya and the Lomot Rivers, as provided for in Acts Numbered Six hundred and thirty-eight and Eight hundred and fifty-three, may be undertaken by the Consulting Engineer to the Commission in the absence of the electrical engineer and the hydraulic engineer, authority for the appointment of whom is made in Act Numbered Six hundred and thirty-eight and Eight hundred and fifty-three are hereby amended to this extent.

SEC. 2. The public good requiring the speedy enactment of this bill, the passage of the same is hereby expedited in accordance with section two of "An Act prescribing the order of procedure by the Commission in the enactment of laws," passed September twenty-sixth nineteen hundred.

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect on its passage.
