[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 3477, June 16, 1962 ]
AN ACT PROVIDING FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A SCHOOL FOR PHILIPPINE CRAFTSMEN IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF WRIGHT, PROVINCE OF SAMAR, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
SECTION 1. A school of the Polangui School for Philippine Craftsmen type is hereby established in the Municipality of Wright, Province of Samar, to be known as the Wright Vocational School.
SEC. 2. The Secretary of Education is hereby authorized to organize the curricular instruction in said school and shall have the power to issue rules and regulations necessary to carry out the purposes of this Act.
SEC. 3. The sum of two hundred thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the establishment, operation, and maintenance of said school for and during the fiscal year nineteen hundred sixty-three. Such sum as may be necessary for its operation in subsequent years shall be included in the annual General Appropriation Acts.
SEC. 4. This. Act shall take effect upon its approval.
