[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 5017, June 17, 1967 ]

AN ACT ESTABLISHING A SCHOOL OF ARTS AND TRADES IN OZAMIZ CITY, TO BE KNOWN AS THE OZAMIZ CITY SCHOOL OF ARTS AND TRADES, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR.



Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. There shall be established; under the supervision of the Director of Vocational Education, a school of arts and trades in Ozamiz City, to be known as Ozamiz City School of Arts and Trades.

SEC. 2. The Secretary of Education shall issue such rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry out the purpose of this Act.

SEC. 3. The sum of two hundred thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the establishment, operation and maintenance of the said school during the fiscal year nineteen hundred sixty-seven. Thereafter, such sums as may be necessary for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations  Act.

SEC. 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
