[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 2727, June 19, 1960 ]

AN ACT TO PROVIDE FOR A PUBLIC HOSPITAL IN THE CITY OF ILIGAN AND TO AUTHORIZE THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR.



Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. There shall be in the City of Iligan a public hospital, to be known as the Iligan City Hospital.  The site of said hospital shall be determined by a board of five members, namely, the Director of Health Services or his duly authorized representative who shall act as chairman, the City Mayor, the City Engineer, and two members of the Municipal Board of said city to be designated by the City Mayor.

SEC. 2. The sum of one hundred fifty thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the operation and maintenance of said hospital during the fiscal year nineteen hundred sixty-one.  Such sums as may be necessary for its operation and maintenance in subsequent years shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
