[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 2719, June 19, 1960 ]

AN ACT TO ESTABLISH A BREEDING STATION IN THE CITY OF ILIGAN, AND TO AUTHORIZE THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR.



Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. There shall be established, under the direct supervision of the Director of Animal Industry, a breeding station in Iligan City, at a site to be selected by said Director with the assistance of the city mayor and city engineer, to be known as the lligan City Breeding Station.

SEC. 2. Upon recommendation of the Director of Animal Industry, the President of the Philippines shall set aside and reserve such portion of the public land located within Iligan City as may be necessary and convenient for the establishment of said breeding station.

SEC. 3. The sum of fifty thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the establishment of the said breeding station and for the purchase of breeding animals, supplies and materials and such other expenses as may be necessary to carry out the purposes of this Act.

SEC. 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
