[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 4045, June 18, 1964 ]

AN ACT CONVERTING LAMBUNAO EMERGENCY HOSPITAL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF LAMBUNAO, PROVINCE OF ILOILO, INTO A GENERAL HOSPITAL, TO BE KNOWN AS LAMBUNAO GENERAL HOSPITAL, INCREASING ITS BED CAPACITY TO FIFTY, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR.





Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. The Lambunao Emergency Hospital in the Municipality of Lambunao, Province of Iloilo, is hereby converted into a general hospital to be known as Lambunao General Hospital, and its bed capacity increased to fifty.

SEC. 2. The additional sum of two hundred thousand pesos is authorized to be appropriated out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to carry out the purpose of this Act for the fiscal year nine­teen hundred sixty-five. Thereafter, the necessary sum for the same purpose shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

SEC. 3. Any existing law to the contrary notwithstanding, this hospital shall have a per capita allocation of twelve pesos per day for its operation and maintenance.

SEC. 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
