[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 9089, April 08, 2001 ]
AN ACT DECLARING DECEMBER 15 OF EACH YEAR AS NAGA CITY CHARTER DAY AND A SPECIAL WORKING PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE CITY OF NAGA IN ORDER TO COMMEMORATE THE ANNIVERSARY OF THE SAID CITY
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
SECTION 1. In order to commemorate the charter anniversary of the City of Naga, December 15 of each year is hereby declared as Naga City Charter Day and a special working public holiday in the said city.
Sec. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was finally passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate on February 6, 2001 and June 8, 2000, respectively.
