AN ACT TO CONVERT THE LOOC NORTE BARANGAY HIGH SCHOOL IN LOOC NORTE, ASTURIAS, CEBU, INTO A NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, TO BE KNOWN AS THE LOOC NORTE NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, AND TO AUTHORIZE THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
SECTION 1. The Barangay High School of BarangayLooc Norte in the Municipality of Asturias, Cebu, is hereby converted into a national high school, to be known as the Looc Norte National High School.
SEC. 2. Upon organization of the Looc Norte National High School, all assets, liabilities, personnel, equipment and records of the Looc Norte Barangay High School shall stand transferred to the Looc Norte National High School.
SEC. 3. The Secretary of Education, Culture and Sports is hereby empowered to promulgate such rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry out the purpose of this Act, including the power to reorganize the school, revise its curriculum, and provide for its supervision.
SEC. 4. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter.
SEC. 5. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
