[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 3913, June 18, 1964 ]
AN ACT CONVERTING THE CAGAYAN VALLEY SCHOOL OF ARTS AND TRADES IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF TUGUEGARAO, PROVINCE OF CAGAYAN, INTO A COLLEGE AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
SECTION 1. The Cagayan Valley School of Arts and Trades in the Municipality of Tuguegarao, Province of Cagayan, is hereby converted into a college to be known as Cagayan Valley College of Arts and Trades which shall be under the supervision of the Director of Vocational Education. The said college shall offer, in addition to its present curriculum, such collegiate courses as the said Director may determine.
SEC. 2. The sum of one hundred fifty thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the conversion, operation and maintenance of said college during the fiscal year nineteen hundred and sixty-five, Such sums as may be necessary for its operation and maintenance in subsequent years shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
