[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 4731, June 18, 1966 ]

AN ACT PROVIDING FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A NATIONAL AGRICULTURAL AND INDUSTRIAL SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF SAN JOSE, PROVINCE OF OCCIDENTAL MINDORO, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR.



Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. There shall be established, under the supervision of the Director of Vocational Education, a national agricultural and industrial school in the Municipality of San Jose, Province of Occidental Mindoro, at a site to be selected by said Director and to be known as the National Agricultural and Industrial School of Southern Mindoro.

SEC. 2. Upon the recommendation of the Director of Vocational Education, the President of the Philippines shall set aside and reserve such portions of the public lands located within the Municipality of San Jose, Province of Occidental Mindoro, as may be necessary and convenient for the establishment of the school and farm sites.

SEC. 3. The sum of one hundred and fifty thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the establishment, operation and maintenance of the said school during the fiscal year nineteen hundred sixty-seven.  Thereafter, the necessary sum for the operation and maintenance of said school shall be included in the annual General appropriations Act.

SEC. 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
