AN ACT MAKING AVAILABLE, OUT OF ANY UNEXPENDED BALANCE OF THE APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE BUREAU OF PUBLIC WORKS MADE IN ACT NUMBERED THIRTY-SIX HUNDRED AND THIRTY-EIGHT, THE SUM NOT EXCEEDING EIGHT THOUSAND PESOS FOR TRANSPORTATION AND TRAVELING EXPENSES OF ONE OR TWO DELEGATES TO THE INTERNATIONAL ROAD CONGRESS TO BE HELD IN WASHINGTON IN OCTOBER, NINETEEN HUNDRED AND THIRTY.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Legislature assembled and by the authority of the same:
SECTION 1. Any unexpended balance of the appropriations for the Bureau of Public Works made in Act Numbered Thirty-six hundred and thirty-eight, not exceeding traveling expenses, eight thousand pesos, is hereby made available for the transportation and traveling expenses of one or two delegates to the Sixth International Road Congress to be held in Washington in October, nineteen hundred and thirty.
SEC. 2. The Governor-General, upon recommendation of the Secretary of Commerce and Communications, is hereby authorized to designate one or two engineers in the Government service to represent the Philippine Islands as delegates to said International Congress and who shall report of their mission to the Governor-General and to the Philippine Legislature.
SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect on its approval.
