[ GENERAL ORDER NO. 43, January 23, 1974 ]

PRESCRIBING THE TOLL FEES TO BE COLLECTED ON THE BAGUIO-BONTOC (HALSEMA) TOLL ROAD.

WHEREAS, to ensure the efficient and effective maintenance of the Baguio-Bontoc (Halsema) Toll Road, it is necessary that adequate maintenance funds be provided;

WHEREAS, the present tolls now being collected on those road, "which are used to maintain it, are inadequate for the purpose; and

WHEREAS, in order to provide adequate maintenance funds to ensure its effective maintenance, it is necessary to revise the toll fees being collected for its use.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, by virtue of the powers vested in me by the Constitution as Commander-in-Chief of all the Armed Forces of the Philippines, and pursuant to Proclamation No. 1081, dated September 21, 1972, and General Order No. 1, dated September 22, 1972, as amended, do hereby revise the present toll fees as follows;

  (a) Motorcycles, each. .............................................................................

  (c) Automobile trailers with two wheels not exceeding 1,000 kilos in weight, each ...................

  (e) Motor trucks, twin rear axle, (freight) regardless of capacity .......................................

  (f) Truck tractor with trailer regardless of capacity .........................................

These revised rates shall take effect on February 1, 1974.

All laws, executive orders, rules and regulations or parts thereof which are inconsistent with this General Order are hereby repealed and/or modified accordingly.
