[ LETTER OF INSTRUCTIONS NO. 833, March 23, 1979 ]

In order to attain the purposes and objectives of the Government as envisioned in Proclamation Nos. 1636 and 1637, you are hereby directed to suspend:
1) | The registration of mining claims covering areas described in and embraced by the above-mentioned Proclamations; |

2) | The processing of all applications for mining Bights filed pursuant to Presidential Decree Nos. 412 and 463 and the sand and gravel regulations within the aforesaid areas; |
|
3) | Receiving/accepting applications for Quarry Permit/License, applications for guano permits, and applications for Industrial, Commercial, Foreshore and Gratuitous Permits; and |
|
4) | Mining and other allied/related activities, quarry operations as well as sand and gravel operations within the areas above-mentioned unless cleared by the Ministry of Human Settlements upon consultation with the Bureau of Mines. |
