[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 3618, June 22, 1963 ]

AN ACT CONVERTING THE SULU TRADE SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF JOLO, PROVINCE OF SULU, INTO A NATIONAL SCHOOL OF ARTS AND TRADES TO BE KNOWN AS THE SULU SCHOOL OF ARTS AND TRADES, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR.





Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. The Sulu Trade School in the Municipality of Jolo, Province of Sulu, is hereby converted into a national school of arts and trades, to be known as the Sulu School of Arts and Trades.

SEC. 2. The sum of three hundred thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the conversion, operation and maintenance of said school during the fiscal year nineteen hundred sixty-four.  There-after, such sum as may be needed for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriation Acts.

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
