[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 1562, June 16, 1956 ]
AN ACT CONVERTING THE ILIGAN CITY HIGH SCHOOL IN THE CITY OF ILIGAN TO A NATIONAL TECHNICAL SCHOOL, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
SECTION 1. The Iligan City High School located in the City of Iligan is hereby converted to a national technical school. The Secretary of Education is hereby empowered to reorganize said school accordingly.
SEC. 2. The sum of two hundred thousand pesos is authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the operation and maintenance of said school during the school year nineteen hundred fifty-five to nineteen hundred fifty-six. The necessary funds for the purpose shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
