[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 3433, June 18, 1961 ]
AN ACT CONVERTING THE CEBU NORTH PROVINCIAL HIGH SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF TUBURAN, PROVINCE OF CEBU, INTO A NATIONAL VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, TO BE KNOWN AS THE TUBURAN VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
SECTION 1. The Cebu North Provincial High School in the Municipality of Tuburan, Province of Cebu, is hereby converted into a national vocational high school to be known as the Tuburan Vocational High School. The Secretary of Education is hereby empowered to reorganize said school accordingly. Vocational courses of secondary level shall be offered in said school.
SEC. 2. The sum of two hundred thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the operation of said school during the fiscal year nineteen hundred and sixty-two. Such funds as may be needed for the same purpose in subsequent years shall be included in the annual General Appropriation Act.
SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
