AN ACT CONVERTING THE ZAMBOANGA CITY TRADE SCHOOL INTO A REGIONAL SCHOOL OF ARTS AND TRADES TO BE KNOWN AS ZAMBOANGA CITY REGIONAL SCHOOL ARTS AND TRADES AND AUTHORIZING APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS FOR THE PURPOSE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
SECTION 1. The Zamboanga City Trade School is converted into a regional school of arts and trades of the Northern Luzon School of Arts and Trades type, to be known as the Zamboanga City Regional School of Arts and Trades. The said school shall be under the supervision of the Bureau of Public Schools and subject to the provisions of the School Law. Courses of secondary and collegiate levels shall be offered in the said school.
SEC. 2. The sum of one hundred thousand pesos is authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the expenses of the said school during its first year of operation, including the purchase of a suitable school site. In succeeding years the operating expenses thereof shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
