[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 799, June 21, 1952 ]
AN ACT CONVERTING THE ZAMBALES TRADE SCHOOL TO A NATIONAL SCHOOL OF ARTS AND TRADES, TO BE KNOWN AS THE WESTERN LUZON SCHOOL OF ARTS AND TRADES, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
SECTION 1. The Zambales Trade School, located in the Municipality of Iba, Province of Zambales, is converted to a national school of arts and trades, of the Philippine School of Arts and Trades type, to be known as the Western School of Arts and Trades. The Secretary of Education is empowered to reorganize said school accordingly.
SEC. 2. The sum of one hundred thousand pesos is authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the operation and maintenance of the Western Luzon School of Arts and Trades during the school year nineteen hundred and fifty-two to nineteen hundred and fifty-three. The necessary fund for the purpose shall be included in the annual General Appropriation Acts.
SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
