AN ACT FOR THE OPENING OF THE NEWLY CONSTRUCTED DON MARIANO SALVACION MEMORIAL BARANGAY HIGH SCHOOL LOCATED IN BARANGAY LEMON, CAPOOCAN, PROVINCE OF LEYTE, AND CONVERTING SAID SCHOOL INTO A NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, TO BE KNOWN AS THE DON MARIANO SALVACION MEMORIAL NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
SECTION 1. There shall be created under the supervision of the Department of Education, Culture and Sports, the Don Mariano Salvacion Memorial National High School located in Barangay Lemon, Capoocan, Province of Leyte.
SEC. 2. The existing school building intended for the purpose shall be known as the Don Mariano Salvacion Memorial National High School.
SEC. 3. The amount necessary for its conversion and eventual operation shall be included in the annual appropriations of the Department of Education, Culture and Sports under the General Appropriations Act. Thereafter, the sum needed for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
SEC. 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
