[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8945, August 24, 2000 ]
AN ACT DECLARING MARCH TWENTY OF EVERY YEAR A SPECIAL WORKING HOLIDAY IN THE CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, PROVINCE OF LA UNION
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
SECTION 1. March twenty of every year is hereby declared a special working holiday in the City of San Fernando, Province of La Union to commemorate the creation of said city.
SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was finally passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate on June 7, 2000 and May 29, 2000, respectively.
