[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 7863, January 21, 1995 ]
AN ACT CONVERTING THE DON AGUSTIN F. ESCANO MUNICIPAL HIGH SCHOOL IN TOMAS OPPUS, SOUTHERN LEYTE, INTO A NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS THE AGUSTIN F. ESCANO NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
SECTION 1. The Don Agustin F. Escano Municipal High School in Tomas Oppus, Southern Leyte, is hereby converted into a national high school to be known as the Agustin F. Escano National High School.
SEC. 2. The Secretary of Education, Culture and Sports shall issue such rules and regulations as may be necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act.
SEC. 3. All personnel, assets, liabilities, and records of the Don Agustin F. Escano Municipal High School are hereby transferred to and absorbed by the Agustin F. Escano National High School.
SEC. 4. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter.
SEC. 5 This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
