AN ACT AUTHORIZING MAJOR-GENERAL BASILIO J. VALDES, AND CAPTAIN CIRIACO CARILLO, TO ACCEPT SUCH MEDALS, ORDERS, OR DECORATIONS AS HAVE BEEN TENDERED THEM BY FOREIGN GOVERNMENTS IN APPRECIATION OF SERVICES RENDERED.
Be it enacted by the National Assembly of the Philippines:
SECTION 1. The following officials of the Commonwealth Government are authorized to accept such medals, orders or decorations as have been tendered them by foreign governments in appreciation of services rendered:

SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
- Major General Basilio J. Valdes, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Army of the Philippines, to accept the order of “Commander du Dragon de l'Annam" conferred upon him by the Government General of French Indo-China and His Majesty, the Emperor of Annam, and to wear the corresponding insignia of the order.
- Major General Basilio J. Valdes, to accept the order of Officer of the Order of the Belgian Crown conferred upon him by his Majesty, the King of the Belgians, and to wear the corresponding insignia of the order.
- Captain Ciriaco Carillo of the Philippine Coast Guard Service to accept the order of Chevalier of the Order of the Belgian Crown, conferred upon him by His Majesty, the King of the Belgians, and to wear the corresponding insignia of the order.
