[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 7283, March 24, 1992 ]
AN ACT DECLARING MARCH TWO OF EVERY YEAR AS A SPECIAL WORKING HOLIDAY IN THE PROVINCE OF ILOILO
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:
SECTION 1. In order to honor the memory of the late Tomas Confesor as a model Filipino citizen and inspiration of our people, March Two of every year is hereby declared as a special working holiday in the whole province of Iloilo.
SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was finally passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate on October 2, 1991 and January 23, 1992, respectively.
