AN ACT EXPANDING AND UPGRADING THE MAGALLANES MEDICARE HOSPITAL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF MAGALLANES, PROVINCE OF SORSOGON, FROM A FIFTEEN-BED CAPACITY MEDICARE HOSPITAL INTO A TWENTY-FIVE-BED CAPACITY DISTRICT HOSPITAL, TO BE KNOWN AS THE MAGALLANES DISTRICT HOSPITAL, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR



Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. The Magallanes Medicare Hospital in the Municipality of Magallanes, Province of Sorsogon, is hereby expanded and upgraded from a fifteen-bed capacity medicare hospital into a twenty-five-bed capacity district hospital, to be known as the Magallanes District Hospital.

SEC. 2. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law and thereafter.

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was finally passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate on May 14, 1991 and January 23, 1992, respectively.
