[ REPUBLIC ACT NO. 7538, May 22, 1992 ]

AN ACT INCREASING THE BED CAPACITY OF THE ROXAS MEDICARE HOSPITAL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF ROXAS, PROVINCE OF PALAWAN, FROM FIFTEEN (15) TO TWENTY-FIVE (25) BEDS, UPGRADING IT INTO A DISTRICT HOSPITAL TO BE KNOWN AS THE ROXAS DISTRICT HOSPITAL, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR



Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. The bed capacity of the Roxas Medicare Hospital in the Municipality of Roxas, Province of Palawan, is hereby increased from fifteen (15) to twenty-five (25) beds and upgrading it into a district hospital to be known as the Roxas District Hospital.

SEC. 2. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be included in the General Appropriations Act of the year following its enactment into law.

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was finally passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate on February 28, 1991 and February 3, 1992, respectively.
