DESIGNATING THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE CIVIL AERONAUTICS ADMINISTRATION AS ACTING AIRPORT ADMINISTRATOR OF THE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT AT NICHOLS FIELD AND AUTHORIZING HIM TO CONDUCT NEGOTIATIONS FOR THE TRANSFER THEREOF TO THE REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES.



By virtue of the powers vested in me by law, I, Manuel Roxas, President of the Philippines, do hereby designate the Administrator of the Civil Aeronautics Administration as Acting Airport Administrator of the International Airport at Nichols Field which will be transferred to the Government of the Republic of the Philippines by the Armed Forces of the United States, and authorizing him to conduct all negotiations necessary to accomplish such transfer.

A revolving fund in the amount of P200,000 is hereby created for the maintenance and operation of the International Airport at Nichols Field and for such other expenses as may be necessarily incurred in connection therewith.

Done at the City of Manila, this 23rd day of October, in the year of Our Lord, nineteen hundred and forty-seven, and of the Independence of the Philippines, the second.
