[ Act No. 3470, December 07, 1928 ]

AN ACT TO PROVIDE FUNDS TO CARRY OUT THE PROVISIONS OF ACT NUMBERED THREE THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED AND SEVENTY-SEVEN FOR THE FISCAL YEAR NINETEEN HUNDRED AND TWENTY-NINE AND TO AMEND CERTAIN SECTIONS OF SAID ACT.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Legislature assembled and by the authority of the same:

SECTION 1. The following sums are hereby appropriated out of any funds in the Insular Treasury not otherwise appropriated, in order to carry out the provisions of Act Numbered Three thousand three hundred and seventy-seven, the "Vocational Education Act."

(a) To replace the amount expended in nineteen hundred and twenty-eight under the subsection (b) of section two of Act Numbered Three thousand three hundred and seventy-seven for the payment of salaries of teachers, supervisors, or directors of agricultural subjects and maintenance of agricultural schools........................

(b) To replace the amount expended in nineteen hundred and twenty-eight under the subsection (c) of section two of Act Numbered Three thousand three hundred and seventy-seven, for the payment of salaries of teachers of trade, commercial, home economics, and industrial subjects and maintenance of school in which these subjects are taught
117,180.00

(c) Aid to the College of Agriculture, University of the Philippines, for the establishment of a Department of Agricultural Education for the training of teachers and super visors of secondary agricultural instruction....
25,000.00

(d) Aid to provinces, cities, and municipalities in preparing teachers, supervisors or directors of agriculture and teachers of trade, commercial, home economics, and industrial subjects.......................
15,000.00

(e) To the Bureau of Education for the maintenance of the Division of Vocational Education, the Administration of this Act, and the making of studies, investigations and reports...........................
P30,000.00

SEC. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
